NOTICE OF FILING TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

(Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law) Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the Town of Barre in the County of Orleans for the year 2022. The roll is on file and may be seen below. The Board of Assessment Review will meet to hear complaints at 14317 West Barre Rd – Barre Town Hall on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from  11am to 1pm and 6pm to 8pm. Please call (585)734-8372 or barreas@rochester.rr.com for details. Formal complaints will need to be filed with all documentation by 11 am May 24, 2022. Forms may be left in the Town drop box anytime prior to May 24, 2022. The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll at 3219 Drake St. Oakfield, NY – Community & Government Center on Mondays thru Thursdays from 11am to 3pm; Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM noon all by appointment only by calling (585)734-8372 by May 12, 2022 or barreas@rochester.rr.com. All assessment data available at www.orleanscountyny.com.

In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing the procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.
